Well 2012 has just kicked off and there's already so much new talent in austria!
It deserves exposure and thats where the Continuum Mix Series steps in! Trying to bring forth a few of austrias truely outstanding artists, the Continuum Series is attempting to showcase DJ's and Producers who deserve the spotlight! PHLAGE and his guests bring you some of the finest Drum and Bass from austria and the rest of the world.
The first guest this year is AUDIO DEVICE, one of viennas Drum & Bass veterans. His passion for DnB came up in the late nineties and led him to become a very passionate DJ. Over the years he has acquired residency at famous austrian events like Beat It, Second Sight, Sidesteps, All Souled Out, and made himself a name through self hosted parties like Jungle Fever which started in '98 together with the famous Trife Life crew (first proper DnB event in Vienna); the widely known Synergetic Parties and since the year 2000 the annual DnB-Gathering, Vienna Drum and Bass.
In 2006 he built up a homestudio, graduated a sound engineering school in 2007 and has been working on beats and tunes since then. Recently he had his first, long overdue realease of "Airdo lost in space" and the remix of Waldeck's "Make my day" on Vibration Records.
His main style is some rarely heard shuffle/swing DNB and he's highly convinced that its going to have a huge future, which is well demonstrated by his guestmix.
He is definately someone to watch out for in the near future, so keep your eyes and ears open and enjoy his guestmix on the Continuum Show.
